The heat-dissipating cast iron body has a powder coated epoxy finish that provides maximum pumping performance under the most extreme conditions, a cool run design, and a non-clogging vorteimpeller. Each model has a non-clogging vortedesign that utilizes either a plastic or cast-iron impeller to disintegrate and pass solids up to 2u201d (spherical). All pumps are completely submersible, hermetically sealed to be watertight and dust-tight, and utilize stainless steel components, such as screws, bolts, handle, guard and arm, and seal assembly. The shaft seal is manufactured from carbon and ceramic, while the square ring and gasket are Neoprene.
